Vigilantes have struck again at the Lake Elmo home of a convicted child molester. Last Friday night, the sound of shattering glass woke up those in Fred Keenan's home. Rocks were thrown through three windows.

LAKE ELMO CHILD MOLESTER//ACTS OF VIGILANTISM CAN'T BE TOLERATED

An uncomfortable mixture of feelings is probably every decent person's response to the story of Fred Keenan. The Lake Elmo man pleaded guilty to sexually molesting two toddlers attending his wife's day care center in early 1995. He served four months in jail.

MOLESTER TARGET OF HARASSMENT

A man convicted of molesting children in his neighborhood has since been beaten by masked men and had rocks thrown through his windows . The sheriff says acts of vigilantism won't be tolerated.
